Dr. D. Möhlmann will act as a coordinator for the complete SESAME experiment. Especially, he is responsible for the realization of the SESAME central electronics, the experiment design, and scientific modelling of the acoustic part of CASSE (CASSE-AC).
Dr. Möhlmann will spend about 30% of his time for SESAME.

Mr. H. Kochan will be responsible for the laboratory support from DLR during the design and development phase of experimental hardware. Finally sound propagation tests will be performed under his conduction with cometary analog material (CAM) in the newly built Planetary Simulation Chamber at DLR Cologne. The CAM was successfully used during the comet simulation experiments KOSI.
Mr. Kochan will take the duties of a SESAME system engineer with beginning of phase C/D.

(M.K. Photo) Mr. M. Kretschmer will participate in preparatory experiments for the CASSE acoustic transmitter development and in SESAME electronics design. He will also study in general the sound propagation in porous media, in order to provide interpretation methods of the CASSE data. He will spend 20% of his time on this project.

Dr. S. Ulamec will participate in the selection of the PP array configuration and in the CASSE sensor positioning strategy. He will be the interface to the RoLand system. His institute will provide the facilities for the laboratory investigations (Comet Analogous Material, Space Simulator). He will spend on average 10% of his his time on the project.
